A QUESTION TO A CIVILIZED INDIVIDUAL
How does one judge whether a nation or a state is developed?
On the basis of economical resources?
Or natural resources?
Or manpower?
Or well being of the people?
Which one is more accurate?
On the basis of Per Capita Income?
Or the Human development index?
Or Gross domestic product?
Or happiness index?
Which gives the accurate information?
Firstly, what is development?
For a person, or for a state, or for a country, for a continent?
Is it being superior to others?
Or being superior to one’s position in the past?
When we answer these questions and give a reason why we (as civilized individual) chose that answer, we can say we got clarity on where humanity is in this so-called civilization.
